The Run for the Noses is a hound race on a drag scent course. The hound crossing the finish line first is declared the winner. Temporary, exclusive “ownership” of individual hounds for this race can be purchased at the Calcutta for $50, with first option to buy going to members who “purchased” a hound in the annual puppy auction.
The winning hound pays a $750 purse to the lucky owner!!!
Several hounds for this race will be auctioned separately at the Calcutta.
